January 5, 2023. State House Anti-corruption Unit working with Uganda Police have arraigned the former Town clerk, and former Treasurer Lwamata Technical College , Kiboga District, Isabirye Mathias and Kakaire Habib before the Anti-Corruption Court on charges of Embezzlement and Conspiracy to Defraud.
The two Kiboga District officials allegedly embezzled and conspired to defraud over UGX10 million claiming it was for garbage collection and road construction in Lwamata town council where as not.
