Two Government officials from the Entebbe Municipality offices were detained by the Police in coordination with the State House Anti-Corruption Unit. The Municipality Community Development Officer, Ssekagiri Frank, and the Principal Education Officer, Nabirye Monica Sarah, were arrested from Entebbe District Head Quarters for misappropriation of funds.

During the Covid-19 lockdown, it is reported that Nabirye Monica stole Ugx40 million intended for education while Ssekagiri Frank allegedly stole Ugx850 million from the Youth Livelihood/Women Development Program and Emyooga.

The arrests happened in Entebbe during a government monitoring exercise tour headed by Hon. Ogwang Ogwang, Minister for Economic Monitoring, and Brig. Gen. Henry Isoke, Head Unit of SH-ACU.
