The ED of NAGRC & DB and nine other top managers were arraigned in court on charges of abuse of office and causing financial loss to government in relation to the irregular procurement of cattle semen worth UGX1.3bn. All the 10 implicated officials were interdicted by the DPP. This intervention led to increased profitability in non-tax revenue from UGX800m to UGX3.3bn in 10 months.
