September 13, 2023. The Head State House Anti-Corruption Unit Brig. Gen. Henry Isoke together with the Deputy IGP Maj Gen Tumusiime Katsigazi convened a meeting to intervene in the land wrangles in Wakiso District. The contested land is located in Nakigalala-Kajjansi Town Council, Wakiso district.The wrangles are between John Katende and bibanja holders led to the death of one person among other crimes.
The security heads warned against high handedness and deployed to guard the area, until court pronounces its final decision on the ownership of the land.
It was resolved that a committee, headed by RDC Wakiso district Justine Mbabazi, be set up to investigate the criminality and insecurity on the land.
