Her nine rental rooms were also destroyed by men who claim to have bought the land from her daughter and son.
Kyamulabi was saved by one of her daughters, Mastulah Nakibuule, a resident of Nabbingo in Wakiso but she was also badly beaten as she fought men who were throwing out her aging mother.

Kyamulabi insists that her last born, Aminah Zawedde, working with her husband (son–in–law) Abdul Kikoyo teamed up with her son, Kalid Ssaabwe Bazzeketta to sell her land, which she inherited from her father, Temiteo Mitala a First World Veteran.
She originally had 20 acres but the land has been grabbed by people taking advantage of her old age.
“I am too old to quarrel with anybody. My wish was for me to die and be buried near my parents and siblings, but all that I owned from which I used to collect money has been destroyed and they are planning to destroy the graveyard,” she said.
Kyamulabi, a resident of Buwambo in Kira Municipality was forcefully evicted from her land and her residential house during the COVID-19 lockdown.
Speaking to Kyamulabi in her office, Nakalema expressed disappointment that the old woman was evicted during the lockdown period against the directives of the ministry of lands not to carry out any evictions during this period.
She was also disappointed that the land grabbers were aided by her daughter and son, who she said, were involved in harassing her together with her two grandchildren, one mentally sick.
“This was so inhuman. We need to expedite this case and arraign all the culprits in courts of law,” Nakalema who served the old woman with drinks and food in her office said.
She said her heart was in pain to learn that some Ugandans do not have mercy for the vulnerable.

Nakalema also blamed Kyamulabi’s other daughter, Mastulah Nakibuule who accompanied her to her office for having not come out in time to complain when her mother was being tormented by land grabbers.
Nakibuule however apologised and said she is also a poor single mother who sells fresh fruits at Katwe and only learnt about the matter during lockdown when there was no transport to take her home.
She showed injuries she sustained when she tried to fight for her mother, saying policemen pulled her and caned her when she tried to block the land grabbers.
Nakalema’s unit was alerted by Moses Kibalama, a politician and a resident of the area who alarmed that the area police had been compromised and were on the side of the children and the land buyers.
The mills, located in Amolatar Town Council were donated by the President in 2010 and were installed in 2012 but they were diverted by former state minister for microfinance, Caroline Akao.
But when the President was notified about the matter, he commissioned Col. Nakalema to follow it up, causing the arrest of the former minister, who was also the former District Woman Member of Parliament.
Nakalema later directed Akao to de-register the mills and asked her to write a Memo to the Uganda Registration Service Bureau (URSB) indicating that she had withdrawn her interest.
Nakalema asked the Uganda People’s Defence Forces engineering brigade, which refurbished the mills.

She later handed them mills to the women at a function held in Amolator Town Council.
Judith Acana, the chairperson of the Amolatar Women Millers, who was accompanied by Molly Amera Ongol said the unit helped to restore peace back in Amolatar by handing back the mills.
She said they had written several letters in vain until the unit came to their rescue.
According to Acana, the women are happy and they are actively engaged in running their projects, and that their financial statuses have improved since they got back the mills.
She, however, appealed to Nakalema to help them investigate another scandal sh800m belonging to Namasale Town Council SACCO, which she said was misappropriated by the management.
She said the SACCO is located at Namasale landing site, but all the savings were misappropriated, and the police were reluctant to prosecute the culprits despite several complaints.
Nakalema asked all women to emulate the Amolatar women, who she said became courageous, complained against the injustice, and worked together with her team to ensure they obtained information that led to the recovery of the mills.
She said during the last campaigns, wrong elements attacked the government through posting fake stories on social media but those supposed to counter them remained silent.
Nakalema was on Monday speaking to 97 government communications managers and public relations officers undergoing a two-week retreat at the National Leadership Training Institute, Kyankwanzi from May 26 to May 28.
The retreat was organized by the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance in conjunction with NALI.
Delivering a paper on the theme, “Improving trust in public offices’, Nakalema said that she receives a lot of complaints and many suggest that citizens were not well informed and therefore lack information.
‘If they were informed, many of the corruption incidents would have reduced’, she said, adding that there was a big gap that many of the government achievements had not been well communicated to the public.
She, however, said that after the training, the communicators should be in a position to effectively and efficiently communicate what government does.
She urged them to be warriors and fight to defend their offices and the government. She said many Ugandans felt they were abandoned and on their own.
Nakalema said that although some Ugandans lost lives during the November riots last year, some people on social media used pictures of mass killings from other countries and posted them on social media giving an impression that they had occurred in Uganda.
‘The postings gave a picture as if Uganda was at war,’ she said, adding that the training was intended to equip them with skills to defend their country against negative publications.
The function was attended by the NALI director, Major Gen. David Kasula Kyomukama.
The training is supposed to improve the information and communication functions of the trainees and encourage consistent messaging.
