In a joint operation conducted today by the State House Anti-Corruption Unit and Uganda police, Mpuga Arthur, the Labour Officer of Kikuube District who doubles as the Chairperson of Bunyoro Tulihamu Cooperative Society, has been arrested for mismanagement of the Cooperative assets.
It is alleged that Mpuga in connivance with Munguryek Everce, the District Secretary for works &Muganzi Sammuel, the District Principal Assistant Secretary, both members of Bunyoro Tulihamu Cooperative Society abused their power by hiring out a government tractor assigned to the Society for their personal gains.
