Arua Municipal Council

In FY 2017/2018 successive Town Clerks of Arua Municipal Council allegedly diverted UGX436m meant for road works. Instead, they paid allowances of individual officers and councillors. SH-ACU visited the municipality and investigated the case. Three officials in office of the Town Clerk and the treasurer were charged with abuse of office and diversion.
